Free Mold Removal Inspection in Lafayette

Five documents you walk away with, whether or not you ever hire us. That is the whole offer.

A free Lafayette mold removal inspection takes 45–90 minutes and includes moisture readings at the slab and wall base, an assessment of where the damage begins, fan and drainage checks, and a written report naming the moisture source. No charge anywhere in four parishes.

What you receive

1. The moisture readings themselves. As numbers, at the slab and the base of the walls, room by room — not a summary saying "elevated". Numbers can be compared later; adjectives cannot.

2. A statement of where the damage begins vertically. Floor level or ceiling level. This is the observation that determines whether anyone should be looking at your slab or your attic, and it is recorded explicitly.

3. The named moisture source. The actual path, in a sentence. This is the line a scope needs in order to be remediation rather than cleaning.

4. A material list, if work is warranted. What comes out, what gets dried in place, and why — with a drying target as a number.

5. Our licence class and number, so you can verify it against the state register before deciding anything.

The report leaves with you regardless of what you decide afterward. Most homeowners with visible growth and an identifiable water source never need the last line. When sampling is genuinely warranted, the testing page sets out the three situations.

Bring another company's quote

We will read it with you line by line and say whether it names the moisture source, distinguishes what is removed from what is dried, states a drying target, and holds the licence class the project value requires. Those four things separate quotes far better than the total does, and we will tell you when someone else's document is the better one.

Inspection questions

Is the inspection really free?

Yes - the visit, the readings, and the written report, across all four parishes. Reading someone else's quote with you is free as well. The economics are simple: we make money on remediation, so the visit is marketing, and marketing you can hold in your hand is better marketing.

How long does the visit take?

Usually forty-five to ninety minutes for an average home. Taking moisture readings properly at the slab and wall base is the part that takes time, and it is the part everything else depends on, so it is not rushed.

Do I need to be home?

Ideally for the first twenty minutes. Almost every useful question is one only you can answer - when it appeared, what the room is used for, whether anything was rebuilt. After that you can leave us to the meter readings if you have somewhere to be.

Will you tell me if I do not need work?

Yes, and it happens often enough to mention. Old staining on dry, sound material with no active moisture is a record of something already fixed. The assessment says so, and since the inspection is free nobody has paid for that answer.

What if I want a second opinion on your findings?

Take the document to another company - it is written to be readable by one. Where the stakes are high, an independent assessor with no remediation revenue is worth considering, and we will say so rather than argue you out of it.

Describe what you have found and, if you can, how high up the wall it is. Growth that starts at the baseboard and works upward points somewhere very different from a stain that starts at the ceiling. That one detail often shortens the whole diagnosis. Expect a reply the same working day.
